The Ever-Dark : a literary fantasy novella

Book #1 in The Indirettan Chronicles

The Ever-Dark is a novella about identity, found family, and the courage it takes to face the unknown. It is available in ebook, paperback, and hardcover.

Violet Evans has never fit in. But when she crosses into the magical realm, she finally starts to feel like she has a place in life. Until she accidentally shuts the portal home, cursing the world with the ever-dark: a sky that stays dark purple all day, with the sun frozen on the horizon, never rising, before shifting to black at night.

Determined to right her wrongs, Violet sets out to reopen the portal. But if she succeeds, what will be waiting for her on the other side? A community that hates her? A life she never truly belonged in? Or something far worse?

The Scarlet-Dawn : a literary fantasy novelette

Book #2 in The Indirettan Chronicles

The Ever-Dark is a novelette about identity, found family, and the courage it takes to face the unknown. It is available in ebook and paperback.

Five years after the realm was saved, Scarlet Evans is still waiting to rule it.

Heir apparent in name only, sixteen-year-old Scarlet has spent years watching her mother Ruth make every decision from behind a closed door. But when strange distortions ripple across Indiretta—fires snuffed out, children recounting memories that never happened, bodies turning up in a cornfield—Scarlet begins to suspect that the woman who claims to support her has never had the realm's interests at heart.

With a talking cat, a sister who has moved on with her own life, and a girl named Evony she's trying very hard not to think about, Scarlet sets out to save a world she never asked to inherit.

The Volcano, The Flame, and All I Became : a poetry collection

"You asked me to trust you. So I fell back, intending to land in your arms. But you weren’t there, and you let me fall—alone."

From the poet of The Moon, The Tide, and All I Tried and The Mirror, The Mask, and All I Ask comes a collection that explores the friction of finding your own light.

The Volcano, The Flame, and All I Became is a visceral account of displacement, the resilience of the pedestrian life, and the boundaries required to survive betrayal. It covers the literal miles walked through the streets of Salt Lake City, the "masking" required to navigate a neurotypical world, and the "Safety Hazard, M.D.s" who prove that sometimes the person who promised to care is the one who lets you fall.

Unfiltered, literal, and at times sharply defiant, this is for anyone who has dragged their suitcases to a new city and is finally ready to find their footing on their own mountain.

The Love I Give : a poetry collection

The Love I Give is a poetry collection on love, grief, heartbreak, and honesty. It is available to pre-order in ebook and paperback.

"Should I tell you the truth and risk losing you, or should I continue not saying how I feel and risk losing myself?"

From the poet of The Mirror, The Mask, and All I Ask; The Moon, The Tide, and All I Tried; and The Volcano, The Flame, and All I Became comes a poetry collection that explores the raw, often agonizing friction between loving someone completely and needing to remain honest to yourself.

The Love I Give is a visceral account of unrequited love, the quiet sacrifices we make in the name of connection, and the resilience required to stay true to your own reality when someone else’s feelings don’t match your own. It covers the weight of lingering memories, the ache of being "just friends" with the person you see as your life partner, and the complex journey of navigating affection through a neurodivergent lens.

Unfiltered, literal, and at times sharply honest, this is for anyone who has given their whole heart to someone whose love doesn’t match their own, who has sacrificed their own needs to keep the peace, or is finally ready to demand the truth—even if it’s from themselves.
